License Types

There are three types of licenses available for the Demorize products:

• Node locked
  The product is locked to the hardware of the computer on which it is installed and run. This means that the product cannot be run on another computer without acquiring a new license.
• USB key
  The product is locked to a USB dongle that must be connected to the computer that is running the software. The dongle can freely be moved to any computer.
• Floating
  A Demorize License Server must be running in the network and the Demorize software products must be able to connect to this server over the network. Licenses are dynamically given to the currently running software products in the network. With this license the software can freely move between computers on the network as long as the total number of licenses currently used is not exceeded.

Each display showing a Demorize Player-generated screen must have a corresponding Demorize Player license. It does not matter if the display shows the same stream as another display or if the display shows the feed from a TV-network or streaming service.

Maintenance and Support

A one year maintenance plan is included that entitles the customer for free upgrades to new versions of the licensed products. The maintenance plan can be renewed at the end of the period for an annual fee of 30% of the total license cost based on current list prices.
